The contemporary bride has a multitude of breathtaking dress designs to choose from, from ‘off the peg’ gowns to spectacular couture creations. Collections by a number of key designers set seasonal trends when it comes to style, fabric and embellishment. Today we’re looking at five of our favourite designers for 2016, all differing in style but with one thing in common… talent!
Inspired by Katherine Hepburn, Bianca Jagger and Patti Smith, this is the bridal collection of US-based designer Katharine Polk. It’s timeless and easy to wear with dresses that can easily be worn more than once.

After opening her flagship store in Los Angeles in 2007, Monique Lhuillier has gone from strength to strength. She is known for her red carpet gowns as well as her bridal collection. Elegant and sophisticated, every gown is the epitome of luxury and style.
