From the moment you arrive at Mythe Barn, we know you will love every second of your wedding day. If you’re in the midst of your wedding planning, let’s take a walk through the venue, looking at how your day might flow.

Time to Prepare

We want you to relax as soon as you arrive at Mythe Barn, safe in the knowledge that we have everything under control. All you have to do is enjoy yourself! Head straight up to our Bridal Preparation Room where a private and relaxing suite awaits, complete with dressing tables, mirrors and ample space for you and your bridesmaids to get ready. Look down from the Minstrels Gallery to The Oak Barn below as your guests arrive for your ceremony.

Saying ‘I do’

It’s time to say your vows, whether you have chosen to marry inside or out. Wander down the stairs from the Bridal Preparation Room to the magnificent Oak Barn, a breath-taking space with solid oak frame and elegant chandeliers, filled with light from the full-height windows. Alternatively, you might decide to walk through to the garden, marrying beneath the fairy tale oak Gazebo on our picturesque lawn. With exclusive use of Mythe Barn, the choice is entirely yours.

Greeting your Guests

You’re married and it’s time to start the celebrations! As your guests wander out of The Oak Barn, they will find themselves in The Cart Barn, a simple, elegant reception space with stylish bar area that lends itself perfectly to your drinks reception. Of course, if the weather is kind, you might also decide to mingle in the garden or move out in to the Courtyard – a fabulous sun-trap with plenty of seating and parasols for your guests to relax before dinner. Cocktails and canapés are set to delight as you spend time chatting to your friends and family.

Time to Dine

The Grain Store welcomes you for your wedding breakfast, one of the most unforgettable moments of your life. Join with your friends and family as you dine together in this impressive space, designed entirely with weddings in mind, and featuring beautiful chandeliers, ceiling drapes and floor-to-ceiling windows opening up on to the garden and countryside beyond.

It is here that you’re also likely to hold your speeches and also cut your wedding cake before the evening party begins.

Evening Celebrations

After your wedding breakfast, guests will often relax over coffee or cocktails, perhaps in The Cart Barn or outside in the Courtyard, enjoying a gentle lull in celebrations before they put on their dancing shoes! Meanwhile, The Grains Store is transformed in to your party venue, just the place for your band or DJ to fill the dance floor.

As the evening festivities commence, guests may find themselves dancing the night away, or perhaps mingling in The Cart Barn or The Courtyard. The Outdoor Kitchen at Mythe Barn will also come in to its own as the expert on-site catering team create fabulous food right before your eyes.

And So To Bed

Of course, we don’t want you to leave at the end of your day. After all, no one enjoys that ‘Cinderella’ moment. Instead, we know you’ll love our exquisite Honeymoon Suite and the additional seven luxurious en-suite bedrooms for your closest friends and family. As you wake up the following morning, you can enjoy breakfast together, sharing stories from your magical wedding day.
