Mythe Barn offers the opportunity for your four-legged friend to share in some of the most important moments of your day. We know that dogs are often an important part of the family and that is why we are delighted to welcome well-behaved dogs to be part of your wedding day celebrations.
Include Your Dog in Your Ceremony
Whether you would like your dog to walk down the aisle, accompany you during your vows, or simply be present as you say, “I do”, we are happy for them to be involved in your ceremony.
Beautiful Photo Opportunities
Following the ceremony, your dog is welcome to remain for the drinks reception and wedding photographs. Our picturesque grounds provide the perfect backdrop for capturing special moments with every member of your family, including the four-legged ones.
A Warm Welcome for Your Dog
To help keep your dog comfortable during their visit, we provide a water bowl and complimentary poo bags. We kindly ask that dogs always remain supervised and that owners clean up after them to ensure our grounds remain enjoyable for all guests.
Important Information
Dogs are welcome for the ceremony, drinks reception and photographs up until the start of the wedding breakfast.
Please note that dogs are not permitted in the dining room during the wedding breakfast and are not allowed in the accommodation or preparation areas. Couples will therefore need to arrange for their dog to be collected or taken to alternative accommodation before dining begins.
If you require assistance our team can recommend a trusted dog chaperone service. These specialist providers can help transport, supervise and care for your dog, ensuring they can be part of your celebrations while allowing you to relax and enjoy your wedding day.
Dog Policy
To ensure the safety and comfort of all guests, couples will be required to complete and sign our Dog Policy before the wedding day. This document details the venue guidelines and responsibilities relating to dogs on-site.
We will also ask for some additional information about your dog in advance of your wedding, including details of their handler for the day and arrangements for their departure before the wedding breakfast. Dogs must be always kept on a lead and remain under the supervision of a responsible adult or designated dog chaperone throughout their visit.
