With summer just around the corner, it’s time to dream about vibrant, colourful summer wedding food. If you’re in the midst of planning your Mythe Barn wedding, we hope these summer menu delights from our expert on-site catering team will inspire you.

Tantalising Canapés

Following your romantic ceremony, we know you’ll enjoy welcome drinks and canapés in the courtyard. Our expert on-site catering team offer an array of delicious canapés, using only the finest seasonal ingredients. Choose from blinis, tartlets, skewers and rice spoons. As for our favourite summer canapé… it might have to be a smoked salmon blini with dill cream cheese and salmon caviar.

Summer Drinks and Cocktails

Drinks are perhaps as important as food on your special day, from refreshing summer cocktails to fine wine and gin bars. During the summer months, we love our ‘Create-your-own Bellini bar’, serving Prosecco alongside a selection of seasonal fruit purees. Mocktails made with fresh juices and limes are endlessly popular and, of course, there’s nothing quite like a chilled glass of Champagne! As day turns to evening, you might decide to delight your guests with an evening cocktail bar.

The Main Event

Moving in to the Grain Store to dine, our menu offers much to tempt you. Grilled supreme of free-range chicken is an exquisite choice for summer, or you might like the sound of our pan-roasted monkfish with tiger prawns. With so many delicious puddings to choose from, why not choose a trio of baby scone with strawberries, miniature chocolate brownie and a shot glass of lemon posset.

If you’d like your day to take a less-formal turn, we think you’ll love our casual dining menu, perhaps with a barbecue main course – just the thing for summer.

Your Evening Dining

As the sun goes down, our Courtyard becomes the place to mingle while the dancefloor in the Oak Barn is in full swing. It is here that you’ll find our Outdoor Kitchen where our expert chefs prepare and cook wood-fired pizzas, vibrant street food and delicious barbecues, an element of theatre and the grand finale to your wedding day.

Our expert on-site catering team want to make sure that every guest at your wedding enjoys a delightful dining experience. With that in mind, we also offer an exceptional vegetarian and vegan menu and a separate menu for children.
